Here's how to get your ADFG fishing license online.

  1. Visit ADF&G licensing portal
  2. Create account (need AK driver's license for resident)
  3. Select: $20 resident or NR option ($100/65/45/30/15)
  4. Add King Salmon Stamp (+$15 res / +$30 NR) if targeting kings
  5. Get free Harvest Record Card if fishing king salmon or trophy rainbow trout
  6. Pay and print — valid statewide in fresh & saltwater

For Charter Visitors

Most fishing lodges and charter companies can sell you a license + stamp on-site. Some packages include it. Always confirm before your trip — especially regarding the new Halibut Stamp for areas 2C/3A.
