Can you use 2 fish finders at the same time?
Any time you run two units with the same frequency there is a risk of interference. However, with the modern noise rejection systems built into today’s fish finders, in most conditions when there is a unit on the front and back of the boat with the same frequencies, they will not interfere with each other.
Can you run 2 fish finders off 1 transducer?
The chirp units nearly always can be run together because the 2d can be manually set to a variety of frequencies and the Side/Down can be run on either 455 or 800. One chirp and one non-chirp can probably also work since the chirp unit has some flexibility in the settings.
